Back in 1996 Richard Scott became the owner of this 1964 Super De Luxe. He bought it from a chap who had been planning to restore it for a few years but hadn't managed to start the task. Richard had the same sort of expectations for his restoration. "Initially it was going to be a two-year restoration, which took 18 years," he laughs. "It was the usual overestimation, and family life. We moved twice in that time. And every time I did anything it was the first time for me, which means progress was slow.".
