Rust really isn't acceptable... I have always dreamt of some day being able to take my Mini driving appetite to the next level and, having scoured the internet for different forms of historic motorsport, I ultimately settled on regularity rallying. It's a fairly simple field of motorsport, at least when you read the theory of it, but I think when I explain a little more that it'll start to confuse you as much as it does me. The idea is to average a designated speed on public roads between predetermined sections of a rally stage. It seems simple enough until you realise that your co-driver is going to have to effectively sit a maths exam in order to calculate the exact speed you need to drive at to arrive at a checkpoint at the correct time; a second late or a second early and you're given penalty points.
