But, if you have the skills to create such a masterpiece for yourself, why not make it even better than those well-known coach builders did?In 2007,17-year-old Liam Ball bought this Estate, unseen, for £700. "I always tinkered with cars with my dad and I always wanted an old car. What Iwanted I could never afford so I set my sights on a Mini and the Estate was even cheaper than a normal Mini." The 340-mile return trip to collect his eBay purchase showed that it needed more than just a good service. "The brakes were verging on suicidal," he recalls.
