Mini Mine has re-manufactured the engine block banjo union bolt/screw which holds the oil feed pipe into the block on all pre-1990 Mini models. Supplied with copper sealing washers. Mini Spares has launched its own version of the large clutch casing gasket, using Klinger material, which they say will help prevent oil leaks. The 0.031" (31 thou) gasket compresses to the correct size when bolts are torqued to 18lb/ft, and does not require sealant.
