Ask any motorsport historian o rally driver who campaigned Works cars on international rallies during the 1960s which of the competitions managers of the time was the best and the answer almost certainly will be Stuart Turner. From 1961 to 1967 he was Manager of the BMC Competitions Department at Abingdon during the reign of the Mini and big Austin-Healey.
