Feeling the heat

As reported in MiniWorld earlier this year, I spent rather a large amount of cash getting Popsie's rusty rear end sorted out last winter. I then popped her back in the garage where she slumbered for several months before we set off to the International Mini Meeting at Bristol. On arrival at the holding area at Washingpool Farm we had some time to wait before we could get into the event so, while checking to see why the heater was stuck on 'hot', poking about under the bonnet, I found a mouse nest tucked cosily away up by the bulkhead! Fortunately, I don't think Mickey and Minnie had chewed through any pipes or wiring but I could see that the heater valve was shot and I would need to get a new one. Well, at least I was in the best possible place to find a replacement.
