My Mini

Ross AmblerHere is my 1981 Austin Mini HL that I'd like to share with all you MiniWorld readers. My Mini is a real head-turner which gets people waving and taking pictures. Having attended a car show at the start of September, and coming away with a strong want for a classic, the search began. From classic Fords to VWs I didn't know what would be best, and also within budget, but then, after scrolling through eBay, this little Mini caught my eye. A quick email and, next thing you know, it's mine! I've never been so excited, but also nervous, as it's a totally different car to what I've driven before. Having owned a Mini previously I knew what to look out for, common rust etc., but I struck gold with this one. It has no rust and has had a full underseal treatment.
