Washington-Spokane section supports school programs

While the Spokane Section remains vigilant in sponsoring National WAAIME scholarships and offering financial assistance through our section's local emergency scholarship fund, we also support activities involving the earth science studies of our local elementary and high school students and teachers. The funds are used to pay for field trip transportation to the Silver Valley, ID mining district, and it provides tours so the teachers can associate what they have learned in the classroom to the mining industry.
