The American Antiquarian Society's photograph collection includes nearly 230 daguerreotypes. This inventory includes a brief description of each daguerreotype and a thumbnail (when available) that links to a larger image. The David Claypoole Johnston Family Box List consists of 23 boxes of material dating from 1799 through the early twentieth century, and spans two generations. The collection includes art by David Claypoole Johnston (1799- 1865) and three of his children.
