摘要

As someone actively interested in the growth on non-conventional semiconductor surfaces, I have long wanted to organize a workshop on this and related themes. The workshop was initiated by Dr I Pavesi (University of Trento), Professor G Guillot (INSA-Lyon, France) and myself.
