摘要

The pushover method is one of the methods of seismic analysis proposed by Eurocode 8, and allows the post-elastic behaviour of a structure to be apprehended at a more limited cost than with a time-history analysis. However, it remains more complex to implement than the usual linear methods (modal-spectral method or lateral forces method of analysis), because it imposes on the one hand a non-linear calculation taking into account several phenomena and on the other hand a relatively heavy post-processing of the results. Linear methods are therefore still of interest for the seismic investigation of common buildings and can therefore be considered in most cases.
