The first decade of the 21st century is bringing a new menu of challenges as well as opportunities for surface finishers-expanding global market pressures, new standards for products and processes, and increasing costs of material and energy inputs as well as other overhead expenses. In light of this ever-changing landscape, the surface finishing industry continues to mount a proactive effort through the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF) to advance and promote the best interests of the industry.
