Weather seals fit all the doors and windows of every automobile on the road. Among the jobs they do is to keep the inside of the car snug and safe from wind, rain, or carwash suds. Approximately 95 percent of the weather seals in North America are made of ethylene propylene rubber, or EPDM, a synthetic that can't be recycled and may need a metal form to hold its shape.
