The Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering, UCF, Orlando, Florida, invites applications for several tenure-track faculty positions, to start January 2008 or August 2008. Appointment is anticipated at the Assistant/Associate levels, but candidates with exceptional qualifications will be considered for senior appointments. Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree or equivalent, by the start of the appointment, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. Duties include (1) teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, (2) supervising students in research projects, and (3) establishing an externally funded research program.
