Ten teams of students will get a shot at turning their inventiveness into a business in the ASME Innovation Showcase this fall. The value of joining the competition isn't so much the $10,000 first prize as it is learning how to develop a business plan and present it to potential investors. The ASME IShow gives college students the chance to compete for seed money to bring their products to market.
