摘要

A computational method is developed for taking into account the self-absorption of gamma rays in bulk samples in the ranges of energies 0.1-3 MeV and densities 0.2-2 g/cm~3, which are typically encountered in radioecology. Experimental confirmation is obtained for calculations in standard measurement geometries: Marinelli 0.5-iter and 1-liter, and Denta 0.1-liter. The advantages in accuracy of the relative self-absorption coefficients used in the article are demonstrated.
