摘要

The construction of a microwave device, operating periodically in the traveling-wave mode for the effective heat treatment of pipes with low dielectric losses, is considered. A two-dimensional periodic slow-wave structure with a varying period in the direction of propagation of the traveling wave is employed. The difference between the calculated and measured temperature distribution characteristics in the pipe material did not exceed 7%.
