AN ANALYSIS OF THE POSSIBILITY OF MEASURING THE REMANENT MAGNETIZATION OF A FERROMAGNETIC MATERIAL IN AN OPEN MAGNETIC CIRCUIT

It is shown that a reliable result cannot be obtained when using the result of a measurement of the remanent magnetization of a ferromagnetic body to calculate this parameter of a ferromagnetic material. A formula is developed for calculating it from the result of a measurement of the saturation magnetization and the relaxation magnetization in an open magnetic circuit. The theoretical and experimental data are compared.
