摘要

A refraction system for studying evaporation of liquid drops from a solid surface with the use of the background-oriented direct-shadow method of visualization of optically inhomogeneous media is developed. Computer simulation of evaporation from a heated surface is performed. A description of the experimental set-up is given and the results of experiments involving the study of evaporation of drops of water, ethanol, and ethyl acetate are presented.
