A proximate method of visual inspection of the parameters of beams of laser radiation at wavelengths in the range 0.3-10.6 μm by means of a VI-2 visualizer with the reversible optically bistable medium Al-VO_2-dielectric serving as the screen is described. The medium possesses three gradations of image brightness and image color contrast, with a specific energy (power) density of the recorded radiation corresponding to each gradation.
