8th Meeting on Applied Scientific Computing and Tools Grid Generation, Approximation and Visualization

摘要

We are very glad to introduce this issue that collects papers describing new developments and extensions of topics and results presented and discussed by participants to IMACS/ISGG Workshops MASCOT - Meetings on Applied Scientific Computing and Tools - Grid Generation, Approximation and Visualization, held in Rome, Italy. These seven papers, which have been selected by a deep reviewing process, illustrate new advances in numerical grid generation methods, approximation algorithms and simulation methodologies. Most papers discuss their innovative role in fluid dynamics or other complex applications.
