Special ICMOSPS 2007 issue of Mathematics and Computers in Simulation

摘要

The present special issue of Mathematics and Computers in Simulation contains two of the papers presented at the International Conference on Modelling and Optimization of Structures, Processes and Systems (ICMOSPS 2007) held on 22-24 January 2007 in Durban, South Africa. ICMOSPS 2007 promoted exchange of information between researchers from 30 countries on many aspects of modelling and optimization and their applications. The conference took place with more than 70 presentations and contributed to the advancement of field and the establishment of networks among the participants. The papers published in the special issue were selected on the basis of their quality and their archival value.
