Use of slags taken from blast furnaces for the improvement of petroleum cements of type 'G'

The most important objective of the cementing program in the oil industry is to separate the different zones, related to each other during drilling. The cementing of oil wells is performed either to prevent the fluid from migrating to areas where it can be trapped to avoid losses in production, or to isolate zones which will be exploited later.
