摘要

The paper reports on the formation of ultrafine-grained structure in the Ti-6Al-4V alloy by equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP). ECAP processing with various regimes on die-sets with angles of channels intersection equal to 135° and 120° has been studied. Special attention is paid to the features of the processed microstructures and properties of the ECAP samples. It is shown that low-temperature deformation applied after ECAP contributes to additional strengthening of the alloy preserving sufficient ductility.
