First law of thermodynamics for materials with negative thermal expansion

摘要

Earlier, the author and G. V. Skornyakov found that the first law of thermodynamics has the following form: for materials with positive thermal expansion, δQ=dU+PdV and for materials with negative thermal expansion, δQ=dU−PdV. In the present paper, this result is finally proven.
