A new fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) coating based on brominated epoxy resin with a high glass transition temperature was developed for high-temperature pipeline operation. The coating performs significantly better in cathodic disbondment and water soak tests than conventional FBE coatings. It also has good ultraviolet resistance.
