Colorado School of Mines student wins MTI scholarship

The Materials Technology Institute (MTI) (St. Louis, Missouri), a not-for-profit technology development organization representing private industry, awarded its 2010 MTI Bert Krisher Memorial Scholarship to Samantha Lawrence, a senior studying metallurgical and materials engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. MTI Board member and AkzoNobel representative Ed Maylor presented Lawrence with the $10,000 scholarship at the MACE International CORRO-SIOM 2010 conference in March.
