摘要

Underinvestment in aging infrastructure comes at a high cost to U.S. families and businesses, according to a new report released by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) (Reston, Virginia). The report, titled "Failure to Act: Closing the Infrastructure Investment Gap for America's Economic Future," finds that it will cost each U.S. family an average of $3,400 per year-or $9.33 per day-because of inefficiencies caused by inadequate infrastructure.
