摘要

It is becoming more common for crude oil or gas pipelines to share their rights-of-way with high-voltage alternating current (AC) power lines. Safety is a major concern for operators, and the integrity of AC mitigation facilities is crucial in reducing risks to the safety of personnel and the continued operation of the pipelines with effective cathodic protection. This article presents a case study involving this situation that had significant challenges.
