In the month of February 2021, the NACE Islamabad Pakistan Section, in association with the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, University of the Punjab, Lahore, organized two webinars, which were the 11th and 12th in an ongoing series. Conducted on February 6, this webinar featured guest speaker Ahmad Raza Khan Rana. Rana has a proven research background in protective coatings, risk-based inspection, and asset integrity. He has an M.Sc. degree in materials and corrosion engineering and has authored numerous publications in various magazines and journals. He was a recipient of the prestigious NACE Graduate Student Book Award 2019 during CORROSION 2019, given for excellence in the field of corrosion engineering. He is a committee member and content contributor for the American Petroleum Institute's standards and has secured grants from National Research Council Canada and Alberta Innovates to contribute to asset integrity via his research work and technology commercialization. Currently, Rana is the technology commercialization director at Integrity Products & Supplies, Inc. in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.
