摘要

Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/clay nanocomposites was prepared by in situ intercalative polymerization initiated by γ-ray irradiation. The degree of dispersion and the intercalation spacing of these nanocomposites were investigated with the X-ray diffraction (XRD) and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), respectively. The thermal stabilities of the samples were studied by the thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
