Carbon nanotubes and diamond-like carbon films produced by cathodic micro-arc discharge in aqueous solutions

摘要

This letter reports the synthesis of carbon nanotubes and diamond-like carbon films using cathodic micro-arc discharge in aqueous solutions. The conditions and mechanisms for the growth of these structures were briefly discussed based on the experimental observations.
