摘要

In this letter, reduced graphene oxide (rGO) was synthesized by the ethanol-thermal reaction. Further, we have studied the effects of ethanol-thermal temperature and solvent (ethanol and water) on the reduction degree and electrical properties of rGO. The results reveal that ethanol has higher reducing capability than supercritical water under solvothermal conditions for graphene oxide reduction. As a result, rGO synthesized by the ethanol-thermal reaction (ErGO) has lower O content and higher conductivity than that synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction. We are convinced that this green ethanol-thermal method can produce rGO in large-scale production, and the ErGO will be widely used for various practical applications.
