Facile synthesis of SiO2/C composites as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries

摘要

In this article, we report a facile strategy for synthesizing SiO2/C composites, in which SiO2 nanocrystals are embedded in carbon matrix. When evaluated as an anode material for LIBs, the SiO2/C composites exhibited a reversible capacity of 888 mAh g (1) after 100 cycles at a current density of 100 mA g (1). The enhanced electrochemical performance can be attributed to their uniquely porous structure, which can effectively avoid volume expansion and improve electrical conductivity of SiO2.
