摘要

This research explores the effect of high resolution Fast Scanning Calorimetry (FSC) on crystallization transitions of Se_(90)In_(8)Ag_(2) glassy alloy. For this study, two different techniques were used to see details of crystallization peak of the same alloy;(1) the material was heated inside calorimetric instrument from 0 °C to 250 °C with a constant heating rate and then cooled in air and then heated again with the same heating rate, and (2) Sample was heated from 0 °C to 250 °C with the same heating rate but then cooled drasticallyusing FSC and then reheated. It is observed that the crystallization peak disappeared when the sample was air cooled and reheated but when it was cooled using FSC, it appeared again. These results show the importance of FSC technique in glassy material and reveals the reappearance of the transitionin the same material and make it important in the industry to be reused again and again.
