摘要

The issue of nondestructive testing in aeronautical structures is of considerable importance in the aviation industry today. In particular, the detection of deep and small cracks under installed fasteners is still not resolved. Hence we have developed a setup based on pulsed eddy current technique using an emission coil and magnetoresistive sensors to measure the electromagnetic field at the surface of the tested materials. Various parameters were optimized to detect cracks as small as possible at the greatest depth, in AU4G1 alloys.
