Practical (Nontechnical) Aspects of NDT, Using Thermographic NDT as an Example

NDT tests must frequently be performed under adverse conditions and constraints which may not allow the use of op timized test methods. The inspector's interpretation of the test results is the ultimate "product." Many constraints are interrelated. Burleigh's Second Law states that compromise is inevitable.
