A docking approach for the deposition of perylene derivatives on a water surface

We studied the interactions between a series of mono and diimide perylene derivatives and a water layer, using the rigid docking method. This study allowed us to estimate the potentiality of the docking method for the evaluation of the orientation of organic molecules deposited on a surface.
