Astro Machine Unveils First Printer Featuring Memjet Technology

Astro Machine Corp. has developed a new, full-color A4 and Envelope printer based upon Memjet printing technology for the trans-promotional and mailing and addressing markets.rnThe M1 printer is capable of printing full process color at the rate of 3,600 A4 sheets per hour. When printing envelopes in portrait mode, full bleed, edge-to-edge is possible. When printing envelopes in landscape mode, the output triples to 10,800 envelopes per hour. Along with Memjet technology's resident 8.77-inch print width (70,400 nozzles) on a single CMYKK printhead, the printer boasts on-demand variable data and graphics at speeds up to 12 inches per second.
