摘要

Many variables affect the selection of the FGD wastewater treatment technologies, and a combination of technologies may need to be employed. Traditional chemical methods, including lime copre-cipitation, organic, and inorganic sulfide precipitation, are the most effective and suitable treatments for heavy metals removal. Biological methods using anaerobic process can remove nitrogen, phosphorus, and some metals. Other wastewater treatment methods, such as electro-coagulation, single-use sorption, and selective ion exchange, may be applied to future FGD wastewater treatments with minimum modifications.
