Finally, there's the top-of-the-range HFI 2200, priced at £229.99, with its lightweight, aluminium design and soft, detachable 'goosedown' earpieces.rnAll the HFI headphones use a technology called S-Logic to create a 'natural surround sound' effect rather than conventional stereo output. Most headphones direct the music straight into your ears, creating clear definition between the left and right channels. However, according to Ultrasone, the HFI headphones use the shape of your outer ear to "push sound around your ear". This simulates the effect of 'decentralised' sound being emitted from speakers that are several metres away, and surrounding your head, rather than just being directed straight into your ear.
