DEAR READERS, I must begin my first editorial with profound Thanks to Professor Bernard Taylor for his achieve- Ments in creating and sustaining a great journal: Long Range Planning. The journal was originally Launched 32 years ago at a star-studded, now Famous, meeting at the House of Commons when Robert Maxwell (founder of Pergamon Press, now Owned by Elsevier) brought together Bernard and Robert Perrin.
