Back in 1992, Grazia Ietto-Gillies published an influential and pioneering text on the economics of international business entitled 'International Production: Trends, Theories, Effects'. The work, based on many years of research into the subject, provided a synoptic view of the key ideas that had developed in the area up to that time. Now, something over a decade later, the author presents us with a substantially revised version of her book, further enriched by her own intellectual development and through the experience of teaching many cohorts of international business students at London South Bank University and elsewhere.
