Milligan Street, Northbridge and has been associated with antisocial behaviour and is avoided by the late night patrons leaving the nearby restaurants and clubs, due to the substandard street lighting and poorly lit taxi ranks. In addition, the existing high pressure sodium street lights produce an amber light making it difficult to distinguish facial features on the pedestrian surveillance camera system. Aecom were engaged by the City of Perth to provide a street lighting solution to address these issues and to provide a fresh bright and energy efficient alternative with minimum visual impact.
