摘要

What were your key activities and successes in 2020? To make sure COVID-19 didn't impact our industry any more than necessary, early in the year we embarked on a national advocacy effort with state premiers and chief ministers. We argued (successfully), that lighting manufacturing and supply should be classified as an 'essential service.' This meant our industry was able to provide services throughout the various lockdowns. We also helped put an end to the R&D Tax Incentive Bill. This followed nine months of advocacy (on our part) against changes to the bill, which would have cost industry about $1.8B, so this was a great success.
