2009 was the biggest ever, an excellent result that is already encouraging the organisers to begin work on the next edition, to be held from 8th to 11th March 2011. In Tokyo, the Lighting Fair themed 'Lighting, Friendly to People and Earth', devoted to technological productions with an eye towards looking after the environment, was the guest of Tokyo Big Sight, the international exhibition centre. Held once every two years, for the last 9 editions this event has striven to search for solutions aimed at safeguarding the environment, but with high level merchandise proposals and exciting designs.
