A platform for exchange

Let there be light in all the squares, gardens and streets of the world. This seems to be the motto of the French fair which in May (26-28 . 05 . 2009) hosted the most important event as regards outdoor lighting. The Eurexpo exhibition venue in Lyon was lit up by the LumiVille and InLight Expo events. For one week, Lyon was transformed into the European capital of light, bringing together, in the International Light Week, the exhibition offer of the fairs with a rich program of events dedicated to lighting professionals. The appointments also included cycles of conferences and workshops, the fourth edition of the international "Les Trophees LumiVille" competition, moments of comparison around designs and experiences animated by the LUCI international network and by the newly-constituted industrial cluster of light.
