Earth Wind Fire & Water

Vastu Shastra is the Hindu Indian philosophy of space design, which calls for balance of the five natural elements, fire, water, earth, space and air, to achieve the positive flow of energy in a space. It is the counterpart to Feng Shui (wind-water) the Chinese practice of harmonizing the spiritual forces that inhabit a space. Vastu Shastra was the design inspiration for the interior spaces of the Park New Delhi Hotel and its newly opened restaurants. These concepts not only complement the food and drink, they seem to have upped the ambiance quota at both restaurants. Flagging off the heart of India's capital city's business and entertainment center, The Park New Delhi overlooks the historic 18th century Jantar Mantar Observatory and is in the hub of the city, Connaught Place.
