A New Kind of School Aims High

An ambitious educational action campaign dubbed Light Think University (LTU) will tap into students and universities to not only reduce energy use on campuses but to build awareness about quality lighting among the next generation of consumers and potential lighting professionals. More than 50 universities and colleges have signed on to the initiative, with the first prototype room designs rolling out later this year at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. LTU chair and co-founder Derry Berrigan discussed the details during LIGHTFAIR in Philadelphia.
