BC Section Hosts Annual Awards Gala

The 2014 Vision Awards Gala forthe IES's British Columbia Section celebrated Vancouver's lighting industry earlier this summer. Renowned photographer Ema Peters gave an inspiring talk on the hidden aspects of light and space as well as the lighting challenges involved in photographing architecture and interior spaces. Emerging Professionals, representing a growing number of lighting professionals in the Section, were also recognized for their efforts in the IESBC "Shine Student Lighting Design Challenge." The evening's big winner was Eos Lightme-dia, taking home two category awards as well as the IESBC Sectional Award.
